SV	En Jonathan, Sauls zoon, had een zoon, die geslagen was aan beide voeten; vijf jaren was hij oud als het gerucht van Saul en Jonathan uit Jizreel kwam; en zijn voedster hem opnam, en vluchtte; en het geschiedde, als zij haastte, om te vluchten, dat hij viel en kreupel werd; en zijn naam was Mefiboseth.
WLC	וְלִיהֹֽונָתָן֙ בֶּן־שָׁא֔וּל בֵּ֖ן נְכֵ֣ה רַגְלָ֑יִם בֶּן־חָמֵ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֣ים הָיָ֡ה בְּבֹ֣א שְׁמֻעַת֩ שָׁא֨וּל וִיהֹֽונָתָ֜ן מִֽיִּזְרְעֶ֗אל וַתִּשָּׂאֵ֤הוּ אֹֽמַנְתֹּו֙ וַתָּנֹ֔ס וַיְהִ֞י בְּחָפְזָ֥הּ לָנ֛וּס וַיִּפֹּ֥ל וַיִּפָּסֵ֖חַ וּשְׁמֹ֥ו מְפִיבֹֽשֶׁת׃
Trans.	wəlîhwōnāṯān ben-šā’ûl bēn nəḵēh raḡəlāyim ben-ḥāmēš šānîm hāyâ bəḇō’ šəmu‘aṯ šā’ûl wîhwōnāṯān mîyizərə‘e’l watiśśā’ēhû ’ōmanətwō watānōs wayəhî bəḥāfəzāh lānûs wayyipōl wayyipāsēḥa ûšəmwō məfîḇōšeṯ:

AC	ד וליהונתן בן שאול בן נכה רגלים בן חמש שנים היה בבא שמעת שאול ויהונתן מיזרעאל ותשאהו אמנתו ותנס ויהי בחפזה לנוס ויפל ויפסח ושמו מפיבשת
ASV	Now Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel; and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.
BE	Now Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son whose feet were damaged. He was five years old when news of the death of Saul and Jonathan came from Jezreel, and the woman who took care of him took him up and went in flight: and while she was getting him away as quickly as she was able, he had a fall and his feet were damaged. His name was Mephibosheth.
Darby	And Jonathan Saul's son had a son that was lame of [his] feet. He was five years old when the news came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jizreel; and his nurse took him up and fled. And it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.

Sch	Jonatan aber, der Sohn Sauls, hatte einen Sohn mit lahmen Füßen. Der war fünf Jahre alt, als die Kunde von Saul und Jonatan aus Jesreel kam. Da hob ihn seine Amme auf und floh. Da sie aber eilends floh, kam er zu Fall und ward lahm; und er hieß Mephiboset.
